Guardians' Bo Naylor: Sitting down Saturday

The Guardians' Bo Naylor will not play in Saturday's game against the Orioles due to a minor back issue. Naylor left Friday's game early as a result of the issue and has said he needs to take a break for the time being.

Naylor is hitting .285 this season with eight home runs and 28 RBIs. He is one of the Guardians' most promising young players and his absence will be a blow to the team.

The Guardians are hoping that Naylor will be able to return to the lineup soon, but they will not rush him back. The team is in the middle of a playoff race and they need Naylor to be healthy and productive if they want to make a run at the postseason.

In the meantime, the Guardians will have to find someone to fill Naylor's spot in the lineup. One possibility is rookie Nolan Jones, who has been raking in the minors this season. Jones is hitting .325 with 15 home runs and 50 RBIs in Triple-A this season.

The Guardians are also hoping that Jose Ramirez can continue to produce at a high level. Ramirez is hitting .305 this season with 15 home runs and 55 RBIs. He is one of the best players in the American League and the Guardians will need him to be at his best if they want to make a playoff run.
